ExitFest 2007

Adam, Gerard, Anthony and I went to Exit Fest this year.

The building across the Danube river behind us is the Petrovaradin Fortress, where all of the musical concerts were held. There was a great line up of artists there - Basement Jaxx, The Prodigy, and my favourite: the Beastie Boys.

Evidence of the 1999 NATO campaign was everywhere:

But it was still a beautiful city, when caught in the right light:

Here's a picture of our tent. It got very hot during the day, and the concerts ran generally from about 10pm through to 4am. So pretty much the only time we spent in it was between 5am and 9am.

But who needs to sleep when you can participate in an afternoon waterfight/dance party?

At the festival, they used the "print your own currency" scheme - you had to buy tokens, which could then be exchanged for drinks. But it was efficient - each token shown got you 6 beers, very quickly.

And here's a shot of Adam having fun with one of the more local beveridges:

On the way back, we had a few hours to kill in Milan.
