We arrived Friday night and took a walk around town. Here's a shot of the main square:
There's a guy who plays a trumpet at the top of that tower each hour on the hour. The inside of the cathedral is beautiful, however you are not allowed to take pictures inside (and besides, you would need a flash and it just wouldn't work out).
Anyway, it wasn't long before we discovered a restaurant called Roosters where we kicked things off. They had fantastic license plates on the wall:
From left to right this is Adam, Mark, Alex, Anthony and Padraig.
In this photo you can see why we liked this restaurant so much (it wasn't the food, or the license plates):

Poland prices are very favourable, so Padraig decided to buy a snowboard. boots and bindings, and was so excited to have it that he could not wait to try it out:
After our brief episode watching Padraig's snowboard antics we went out to a club called Prozak. It was a good club but the music was a bit bland (deliberately it was "lounge" music which I guess just isn't my thing). The scenery in the club was great though. Adam is the guy in the red hat gesturing at the camera:
Next day we checked out the castle:

That night we met up with a Canadian girl called Maggie who is studying medicine in Krakow. She and her friends showed us around town to the clubs they liked. Here's a shot from inside "Steel Magnolias", a mexican/latin style music club:
From left to right, Adam, Maggie, Mark, Anna, Me. Anthony had a lot of fun with the "Roosters" logo, demonstrated ably in this shot:
Next day, we took a tour of Auschwitz.
